The Group's 8o¥ernin8 documents are those of the Scout assodation. They consist of 3
Royal Charter, which in turn 8ives authority to the Bye Laws of the AsscKiation, and the
Policy, Or8anisation and Rule5 of the Scout Associatlon. The Group Is a Trust established
undef Its fules which are common to all Scouts. Tr* Twstees ère elected in accordance
the Pdicy, Organisation and Rules of the Scout assoclation.
The Group is mana8ed by an elected Executive Committee comprisin8 Chalr person.
Secretary, Treasurer. Group Scout leadeTS, individual section leadets and parents,
representatives.
The Group has systems that are dÈsi8ned to prrNide reasonable assurance a8alnst matsrfal
mlsmana8ement or loss. These Include two 518nator*s for all payments and Insurance
policies to ensure that insurable rlsks are covered.

Association is to promote the development of young people In achlevin8 their full phy51¢al,
Intellectual, social and splrftual wtsntials as indNiduals, as Tesponslble cld2Èn5 and as
members of the local, national and intematlonal communrtles. The methTrJ of achlevln8 the
Alm of the Association is by providing and enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive
traininB, based on the Scout Promise and law and gulded by adult leadership. The Group
meets the Charlty Commission's public benefft crltefia under both the advancement of
educat6on and advancement of dtlzenship or community de￿lOpment
