|1. Jon N welcomed everyone to the meeting.<br>2. Apologies from Joseph.<br>3. Minutes of the last AGM were discussed.  Proposed by Jenny Bhambri-Lyte<br>and seconded by Anne Baines.  The minutes were accepted as a true and<br>accurate record.<br>4. Governance topics<br>a. Group’s financial year – this year’s balance is £58,472.31 (last year<br>it was £47,475.35).<br>b. Changes to numbers of members that may be elected to Trustee<br>board – a maximum of twelve. We have four trustees, ideally we<br>should have six.<br>5. Review of the previous year<br>a. The Group Scout Leader’s review of Scouting in 229thSt Aldhelm<br>Scout Group – very successful trip to Switzerland.<br>b. To receive and consider the Annual Report of the Group Trustee<br>Board including the annual Statement of the Accounts - see action<br>point.<br>6. Making appointments<br>a. To note any other supporters who may be admitted to<br>membership of the Group Scout Council, including former Scouts<br>and parents, by the Group Scout Leader, the Group Trustee Board<br>or the Group Scout Council – none to be added.<br>b. To approve the Group Scout Leader’s nomination of the Group<br>Chair – proposed by Anne, seconded by Sarah.<br>c. Election of the Group Secretary – post will no longer exist.  Jenny<br>to continue with duties, as trustee.  Proposed by Jon, seconded by<br>Teresa.<br>d. Election of the Group Treasurer – no election as no candidates as<br>yet.<br>e. Elections of members to the Group Trustee Board – none to elect,<br>at present.<br>f. To approve the Group Scout Leader’s nominations to the Group<br>Trustee Board – n/a.<br>g. To appoint the Auditor – Scott Canning appointed to do<br>independent checks.<br>7. AOB – Teresa commented that 229this one of the best run groups, in all<br>senses.<br>8. The meeting closed at 6.47pm.|4a. Jon & Anne to calculate<br>the essential costs for a year,<br>should we suddenly lose all<br>income.<br>4b. Anne has ideas for<br>leaders who can be<br>approached to be trustees.<br>5b. To be looked at in three<br>months (January 2025), once<br>we have calculated annual<br>running costs.<br>6d. Teresa find out which<br>groups need a treasurer, with<br>a view to swapping<br>leaders/treasurers (Sarah)|

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity I'lhe Trust") for the year ended 31103 12024.
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation
basls of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act
2011 {"the Act.).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in cafrying out my examination, I
have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me
