Colbury merr￿￿rial Hall is situated within the Parish of Ashurst & Colbury. Other aCh￿VeMents induded the replacement of the errwrry exit gate. r&paintiry of the white lines in the car park. and o)mpletion of roof works. Further repaiTS arKI decoration are planned but are budget de[￿dert as are investigations of drainage systems and any work arising from those repxjts. The Hall was widety used thro￿hOUt the year by the local community, induding the Parish Council Fete and the Trustees. Christmas Grfi & Craft Fair. These will hopefully be annual events and are useful for rai￿n9 visibilty for the hall arKI for fUrKlrat￿ng. Financial Review The annual income again sh(Ms a deficit, with wr cKrtgoings eX(￿dIr¥j our in¢J)me by almost £8,IXiO. This was dwite r￿lYing a grant of £8,51XI. This defiat is primarily due to the onwing programme of repair5 and maintenarTr whith are unavoidable in an dder building, but are also due to rising energy costs, fire and secxjrity costs, and general runnirvJ costs. I report in respect of my examination of the Charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. ## **Independent examiner’s statement** I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: 1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act; or 2. the accounts do not accord with those records. I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
