The objectives of the Chandler's Ford Community Association are to promote the benefit of the
inhabitants of Chandler's Ford and the neighbourhood by associating the local authorities. voluntary
or8ani5ation5 and inhabitants in a cornmon effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the
interesis of social welfare for recreation and leisure.
This includes the provision and maintenance of The Ritchie Memorial Hall and a community centre for
the use of the inhabitants of Chandler's Ford and to hold in trust the land and buildin8 thereon for the
purpose of a community centre.
The charlty Is mana8ed by the trustee body, who meet four times a year. There are no paid staff, all
nècessary day-to-day work being undertaken by volunteers.
REVIEW OF RESULTS
Results show a steady increase In income, reflectin8 the recovery from the pandemic.
The improvements to the inteinal facilities are provin8 successful.
There is sorne rninor rnaintenarFce work5 required to the 8rouftds to repair fences and maintain tree5
which will be undertaken in the coming months. The grounds are currently being maintained by )
team that meets most weeks, in addition to the work completed by a regular Bardener.
The Trustees would like to thank all volunteers for their hard work in the year.
POLICIES
Reserves policy.. The charity currently operates with minimal reserves. The trustee5 endeavour to
ensure that the charity has sufficient cash reserves to enable it to be able to meet operatin8
expenditure to keep the hall open for at lea￿ six months.

I report in respect of my examination of the Trustees. accounts carried out under section 145 of the

I ACCOUNTING POUCIES
The accounis have been prepared on a ￿teIPtS and payments basi5, as permitted by Section 133 of
the Charsties Act 2011, and comprise a statement that show5 the charity's receipts and payments,
statement that summarises ihe charity's asset5 and liabilities and related notes. The accountancy
profession have determined that only accounts prepared in accordance with applicable accounting
standards present a 'true and fair. view and, as these receipt5 and payments accounts have noi land
tannotl be prepared in accordance with accounting standards, these accounts do not present land
are not intended to presentl a 'irue and fair, view of the charity's financial activities and state of
affairs.
General funds are unrestricted fund5 which are available for use at the discretion of the trustees in
furtherance of the general objectives of the chaflty. Oesignated funds comprise unrestricted funds
that have been set aside by the trustees for particular puiposes. Restricted fund5 are donation5
which are to be used in accordance with specific restrictions imposed by donors.. they include
donations received from appea15 for Specific activities or projects. Endowmefit fund5 are donations
that are retained as capital in accordance with the donor's wishes. The nature of the restriction
determines whether the endowments represent permanent endowments or expendable
endowments.
2 RELATED PARTY TRANSAcfioNS
For 2024. Mrs L James received £1.13312023.. 1.0361 from Chandler's Ford Community Association
as letting agent's commission. No other remuneration, expenses or benefits have been paid or are
payable to any trustee or connected per50n.
