The Tuffley Community As￿CIatiOn was one of the assocTations in Gloucester to incorporate Social Club
into their Constitution. Thi5 enables the Asso¢iation to rnis¢ more fimds to further their activities.
The obje¢tiv¢s of th¢ Association are:
To advanc¢ ¢du¢ation and io provide facilities in the interest of the social welfare and recreation and
leisure.time occupation with the object ofimproving LX)ndttions of lif¢ forthe inhabitants of the Tuffley
and Podsmead wards of ihe City of Gloucester.
To esthblish a Community Centre.
The Asso¢i8tion 1$ registered with the Clwity Comrnission and its own Council which meets the second
Wednesday of every month. The Council consists of its own Executive Committee and representstives from
othcr groups and users of ihe eerttre. Groups include:

The Ex¢¢utive Committtt consists of a Chair. Vi¢¢ Chair. Secretsry and Treasurer.
Secretary and Treasurer are elected at the Annual General Meetin& Chair and Vice Chair are elected at Ill
meeting after the AGM. There are two ￿$teC5 of the Asscciaiion.
Membership of the Association entitles that member￿ meMl￿rSh1P of the Social Club. The Social Club ha5 its
own rule and 15 regulated by the Indw8trial 8nd Provident Societies Art and is controlled by the Financial
Services Authority (FSA) TJOW Financial Conduct Authority.
The Association make5 prov15i0n for ￿1VIlieS such as Coffee Morning, Bingo. DArt4 Skittles, Children'5
Activiti¢s Room and Table Temiis.
There is a lar8e hall or a smaller function room whi¢h is available to Membets io hire for Birthdays, Weddings:
Christenings or Wakes.
Th¢ Association aim5 to maintain suffi¢ieM reserves in order to ensure it can undertak¢ the n￿sary
r¢p8irs and improvements to the Cornmurtity C¢ntre facilities.

As the charity's trustees. you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in a¢cordance with the requirements of the Chanties Act 2011
(Ihe Actl.

under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in ¢arrying out my examination. I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145{5)Ibl of the Act.
