Tele 07778436 Trustees, Report 2025 The Trustees continue to maintain the Memorial Hall for the benefit of the residents of Avening, ensuring that its commemorative purpose is preserved. Following the successful completion of the roof replacement in 2025, further improvements are planned for 2026. These include refurbishment of the kitchen and replacement of flooring, subject to the availability of funding. While the lease with Athelstan Academy Trust has not yet been forn]ally executed, an annual rental figure of £18,000 has been agreed in principle. Completion of the agreement has been delayed due to staff changes within the Trust. The Trustees remain committed to engaging with local residents to ensure that the Hall continues to serve the needs and interests of the community.
