trusteeshaveadoptedtheprovisionsofAccountingandReportingbyCharities:StatementofRecommended Practice

and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2019).

## **`OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES`**

The objects of the charity are:

called"areaofbenefit")withoutdistinctionofsexorpolitical,religiousorotheropinionsbyassociatingwith local
authorities,voluntaryorganisationandinhabitantsacommonefforttoadvanceeducationandtoprovidefacilitiesin the
interestofsocialwelfareforrecreationandleisuretimeoccupationwiththeobjectofimprovingtheconditionsoflife for
the said inhabitants".

TheresultsoftheCharity'stradingsubsidiaryarerecordedinnote8ofthesefinancialstatementswhichindicate that
subsidiaryundertakinghasabalancesheetdeficit.Astheresultofthe3nationallockdownsimposedduring2020 and
2021,thetradingsubsidiarywasnotabletotradeforthemajorityoftheyear.Thetrusteesarehopefulthat subsidiary
undertaking's deficit position will be rectified in the coming years.

## **`Coronavirus Pandemic`**

TheCovid-19pandemichaspresentedaunique,unprecedentedanduncertainrisktotheservices,operations, and
financesoftheCharity.Servicedeliveryandstaffingarrangementswererapidlyadaptedtoenableustofulfilour mission
tothebestofourabilityduringthecrisis,whileprotectingthecharity'sfinancialpositionanditsabilitytorecover when
thesituationimproved.TheCharitywasabletoutilisethefurloughschemeandsecuredaGovernmentsupported Bounce
Backloan.Thetrusteeswillcontinueintensivemonitoringandactionplanningtorespondtochanging circumstances
resulting from Covid-19 for as long as is necessary during 2021/22 and beyond.

TheTrusteesaresatisfiedthattheaboverisksarebeingconsistentlyandeffectivelymanagedandmitigatedand consider
thattheresultantriskprofileisacceptableandappropriateinrelationtotheCharity'sobjectivesandresponsibilities. The
natureoftheserviceswhichtheCharityprovidestoserviceusers,andtheenvironmentwithinwhichthecharity operates,
meanthatwewillinevitablyfacerisksduetofactorsbeyondourcontrol.Wearewillingtotoleratehigherrisksif they
