## **Shalford Village Hall (301392) Annual Report for Year March 2020 – Feb 2021** 

The renovation work on the Hall roof was completed just as Covid restrictions came into force. Also completed was the installation of new windows and redecoration throughout the hall, entrance lobby and Committee Room. 

In recognition of the many years of voluntary service given by Lawrence Rawlinson in maintaining the recreation ground at the Hall the Committee Room was renamed the “Rawlinson Room”. 

However, like many organisations, Covid meant that the Hall was closed throughout most of the financial year. For the limited period it was allowed to open, in summer 2020, all the necessary precautions were taken to ensure it was “Covid secure”. 

The Hall being closed meant that letting revenue ceased but we were fortunate in obtaining a support grant that kept us viable for the financial year.
