Brlef statement of the
charity's policy on reserves
1. In order to meet our obligations it Is necessary to hold reserves to
allow for short term fluctuations in receipts and payments. Nine
months average expenditure is deemed sufficient.
l As with any older building there are risks associated with the long
tenn maintenance of the premises which may not be covered by
insurance. In the event of a significant deterioration in the
bulldin& suffiaentfunds should be held to allow fortemporary
repairs so as to allow continued use of the premlses while more
permanent solutions are sought
