The ofthe Centrc's activities is to provide all birers with a ￿$on2bty priced qualty venue in vthichto ho
their events. This anbraces the need to ensure that the Centre is used for community related ￿tIvItieS held on a
regular basis for all age groups. At the same time there is a need to provide Op￿rtUnitIeS to commercial
organizkn and Andividuals wishing to hold busAne4 80cial and other even

As set out in the Dee4l new Trustees may be ap￿inted at a prowty convened Annual General M¢etin& The
Mwement Committee may rA￿oPt trustees or may fill a casual vacancy if approved at a property convened
meeting ofthe Management Committee. All Trustees retire from office atthe &xl ofthe Annual General Meeting
next after the dat¢ on which they came into olTice. All trustees are members of the Management Committee.

FINANCIAL REVIEW
The resuh5 for 2024 refled a ste￿ Incr￿8¢ in the uye of the Centre by ix)th regular hirers i￿luding clubs

chiklren's pwties and social events. This congislent demand highlights the Centre's role aj a valued venue

EX[￿ndIti￿¢ for the year amounted to £81217.65, an i￿re￿ of £17,558.97 from 2023. The r¢placement of
the ix)ikr and rtjaled lnfrastructt￿e serving the provision of heating and hot water in the Sports Pavilion
section of the building a￿)UntIng for the majority of the increase in eXpenditi￿e. Additionalty. fi
Grants of £3,425.03 were rarived during the year. The grants were fidty matched against costs they hxl
been applied to cover. That is the new boiler project and the sanding and 8¢aling of the floor in the Main Hall
and the xquftsition of a tloor cleaning mxhioe.
Incoming resour￿5 to the unrestri￿ General Fund amounting lo £80,610.60 (2023: £67.806.26) being hire
fees £78,983.71 aryl Bank Interest of £1.626.89. Tolal ￿$Ou￿ eX￿thI amounled to £81217.65 (2023:
£63.658.68).
This resulted in a delkii of £607.05 (2023: surplus of £4,147.58). The (kficit be¢0 deducted from the
balance brought forward on the Unrestricted GenernE Fund of £77,776.26. This kav¢s a balance carried
forward on the unrestri￿ Genernl Fund of £77.169.21.
The Incoming Resources and Totsl Resour￿ expended in re￿IOn ￿ the Restricted New Building
Fundraising Fund was £3.425.03. This kaves a balan¢¢ on the New Building Fundrnising Fund of £3,563.38
at l January 2024 and 31 DK¢mber 2024.
