Th15 Ls. kn large part. due to the sUPPOrt that we have been gr4en by the Parish Coundl. As last year I can rewrt that the vllla8e hall remains in a 8ood state of repairand is very much open for business. However rsing running Costs are having an impact on us as, wf(h everyone else, and we have been forcedto increase the hiring thar8e 5gnrficantty, and thls wlll have to be Constant monitored. A'walk Round Checy wa5 done in January of this yearand several probtems were hvghlighted. Some remain outstandln8 but the vast mèjorlty have been addressed wth the help a8aln of some verygoodfriends of the village hall- Graham Cornell. AIEX Romang and Marion Gunn- to name but the. who carry out small maintenance jobs for us and theb¥ save us a fortune. We stlll onty have onty 5 members. indudingthe offkers on the commlttee. but. because of the Parish Council support, seem to be managin8 Qk. We have notyet had ourAGM. but antpate that the current members wlll be willingto carry onfor anotheryear- butthatdoes notmeanthatnew members wouldn'tbe very warm wekomedl If anyone wants tovolunteeror have any suggestions. we would h)ve to hearfrom you.
