ACHIEVEMENfs AfqD PERFORMANCE
A tc￿e￿ Df the operations of the A8sociation during the f￿anCIal year and the results of those operations ￿e AS

The A550ciation continue5 to proNYde f2ciltties for the benefit of the Inhabitants of Wickford and surroundtng axeas
in the interest of Soci￿ Kvelfare, reueation and leisure. The Association providtS its members access to a dLvcf5e
ange of recreational a¢tiritie5 thcludll￿ bowls, dancing, sports 2CtEVlry 2nd all. AU OE these activities h2N'e continucd
from the pteviou5 Ye￿ and p]an to continue foi the forthcomsng year.
There is 21$0 a bar arca at the Nevendon Centre for its members. The bar area 1$ by the A550ciatrons related
party Centre c.afe Ltd, In additiotl, Ihere 15 an on site pre-schooL wbj'ch AS run by a third party 2nd produces a
source of income for the Association.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
The.Issociation has sutplus fillLds of £118,964 to carry folw￿d a5 It 31st Match 2024 (202> £151,979). These
reserves are to be used for fvttjre fund taising acttvities and Contingencies thai ma} atiye. The policy for holding
reserve5 15 ro ensure suE&cient cover fot futttre expenditute OE at least two titne5 annual expenditure.
The corrid pandemic and the increased cost of living h3s continued to have an effect orL the Assocjation's actiwties,
the tru5tee8 have colls￿et¢d the MabJ]ity of the cELarity in telauon 10 it5 going concern. The ttijstees feel that. hafving
rewewed the monthly management accounts 8iace Match 2024 2nd by preparing cashflow forecasts than at the date
of sJgnin8 the accounts, the Associ%tton has sufficAent rtsetves to continue 2s 2 going eoneem.

The Associatiort also has a rdated party in WCA Property IAmited. There were no transacuons between the

the Assocjxtion.
