four months of the yeaf tMJt ￿ds able io operate WFth a re<luced kyogram for the majorTty
of the year thtrvafter. As a re￿It the income from I￿r usual S￿..ceS of hire charges and
fund raising was mu¢* re4Juced.
Ht)wever it was decided to use the quiet period for a usefvl wrpose and complete the
programme of interftai refurt)ishmerrt and rc*corati¢)n that has b¢en purwed in rocent

The work marks the completion of a full lefurb6hrn￿t ol all the rnajor elcments of the h￿1
both extemal and Intern￿ that the commrttee has ovcr5eL￿ n rcccnt times. Thi5
investment ￿OUld ensure the hall provides a modem and C(￿nIortable environment t
the village for rn￿Y years to ¢(me.
It Wds also decrded to invest in a Audyo.Wwal system ftir thc hall. As a result a new
large sle screen an¢J digrtal prO￿tOr have been installed enablllig tilms and video
prcsentations to be to be stag￿1 in the main hall. This develoFment has al￿ty attracted
the Film Club back to hall with several SL￿CessfUl sctten1n￿> Ccxroleted to a growing
aUd￿lCe.
Government grant% Continued to be avali able due to the lockdown and these have seen
us through the Wiods Wh￿ no fr(xn hKe wa5 Pcksgble.
