The Group Executive Committee has idents.fied the major
risks to they believe the Group is exposed, these have
teen ￿¥￿￿(1 and systems have been estsblished to
rn￿.9ate against them. The main areas of concern that have
been identsfied a￿.
Damage to the bullding. prop8rty and equipmont: The
Group V*rJuld request the use of buildings. propety and
uipment from neight#)uring organisations such as the
church, ujmmunty centre and other Scout Groups. The
Group has sufficient buildings and contents insuranc* in
place to mibgate against pemianent Ios5.
Injury to lud•rn. helpers, •upport¢Ys and members: The
Group through the caprtation fees contributes to the Scout
Associations nab'onal accident Insuran￿ FLilicy. Risk
AssesThnts are undertaken befo￿ all a￿"V1￿"eS.
Reduced income from fund raising: The Group is
primarity reliant upon ino)me from subscripb'ons and
ndraising. The group does hold a reserve to ensure the
continuty of actNtb'es should there te a major reduction in
in¢xrne. The Commrttee could raise the value of
subscript'ons to increase the inwme to the group on an
ongoing basis. either temp)rarity or pemanenty.

subscripbons were £10,601 but this included subs for the
Spnng te￿ 2023 wknich we received after the end of th8
2022-23 finanoal year. We paid merntership fees of £4,414
to Cambridge Distn"d Scout Counal, compnsing National
SLX)Ut fees plus Cambridge County fees. We claimed Gfft
Aid of £3.688 for qUalI￿ng sutscriptions received during the
period 1-9-21 to 31-8-23. We fvndraised £3,529 from events
including the Arbury Camival and our fireworks night
parent￿ ¢onlribution5 totalled £12.368 funding a wde range
of Scout camps and activitses. We also r￿1Ved £32,780 in
payments relth.ng to the Canada tn"p vthich took place in
August 2023. induding parental contributions.
Expenditure during the year totslled £60.698. We spent
£9,966 on nJnning eosts for the Scout hut induding ground

charity {kn8 Trust.) for the year ended 311312024.
Responsibilitles and

As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requir8ment$ of the Charities Act 2011
{'the Act.).
I report in respect of my examination of th8 Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5){b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
examln•rf8 8tatem•nt come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me
cause to believe that in, any material respect..
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Charilies Act- or
the accounts did nol accord with the accounting records,. or
the accounts did not ¢omply with the applicable requirements
concerning the fom and content of accounts set out in the Charities
