|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|The Recreation Ground is a focal point within the<br>village and is very well used by adults and<br>children all year round.<br>The Recreation Ground Committee has over the<br>years been successful in securing grant funding<br>to build the all-weather court, a sports pavilion, a<br>Children’s Play area and a skateboard park.<br>During the first lockdown the Recreation Ground<br>was only open for the community to exercise or<br>walk around the field but as the restrictions were<br>reduced the skateboard park was open and then<br>from July 2020 the Children’s Play area was<br>opened subject to certain conditions. The play<br>equipment was sanitised once a week with users<br>sanitising it when they used it.<br>The Recreation Ground provided a large open<br>space which was accessible during those difficult<br>days.|

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31st December 2020. 

   - As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation 

- **Responsibilities and** of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act **basis of report** 2011 (“the Act”). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
