**Objects:** The charitable purpose of the Unit (the Purpose) is to promote the development of young people in achieving their physical, intellectual and social potential as individuals and as responsible citizens by the provision of education and leisure time activities using a nautical theme and in accordance with the principles, ethos and practices of the Marine Society & Sea Cadets (MSSC).

**Activities:** Padstow Sea Cadets [MSSC]is a uniformed, disciplined youth movement open to young people aged 10-18 years regardless of sex, religion or race. Training uses a national theme based upon the customs of the Royal Navy and helps them towards responsible adulthood by encouraging valuable personal attributes and life skills. Training is given to develop various skills which lead to national certs.
