Andy opened the meeting and thanked the Board of Trustees (BoT), parents and district guests for attending.
Last years AGM meeting were reviewed by the Board of Trustees to be a true account. Available if requested.
It was stated that the scout group adopted the constitution of The Scouts two years ago and so is not readopted on an annual basis.
The treasurer provided the following financial details for the year 1[st] January – 31[st] December 2024

The income and expenditure balance to a gross profit of £2,365.95
Officially the BoT is dissolved and reappointed at the AGM, but as the two formal positions of Chair and Treasurer are not being vacated and are within their term we will not be voting to re-elect these positions. Andy checked that there were no objections and none were raised.
The BoT is required to establish a Quorum which has previously been set as the GLV or Chair, and 50% of all other members. Andy checked there were no objections and none were raised.
Andy gave a review of the scout groups operation for the past year, he then went on to specifically thank the young leaders of which three were able to attend for their continued commitment and enthusiasm.
The groups annual report including its financial statement have been submitted to the charities commission website. The accounts were reviewed by Angela Wood. Andy thanked Angela for her work.
Matthew gave a short review of how the scout group is thriving, run incredibly well by Andy, who challenges district for the benefit of scouting in the group.
Kendall thanked the leaders and young leaders for their time and commitment to the group.
Chief Scouts Commendation for Good Service to Scouting awards were presented to Heather Stevens, Linda Rooney and Charlotte Jackson.
The Bar to the Award of Merit was presented to Andrew Jephcott
Andy closed the formal part of the meeting
The 4[th] would like to recognise and thank Jo Crosby and Sue Cooper for their years of hard work and dedicated service to Beavers, Sue has retired from scouting and Jo has changed role and continues as part of the BoT.

| I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31stDecember 2024. As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect: |

the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act; or
-
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
-
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
