## **AMPTHILL SCOUTS AGM MINUTES 9[th] JULY 2024** 

**Attendees:** Andy Lou, Lee Howes, Sally Amos, Kirsty Morton, Leigh Tymms, Lee Howes, Luke Woodhead, Dawn Boughton, Geoff Silk, Catherine Worley, Kelly Silk, 

- Andy Lou presented highlights and key achievements from each section over the last year. 

- Andy Lou thanked all leaders and assistant leaders and committee members for efforts over the last year. 

- Andy Lou gave an update on where we currently are as a Scouting Group. 

- Andy Lou opened invitation to volunteer. 

- Minutes from previous AGM (2023) have been circulated and reviewed and no issues have been raised. 

- Treasurers summary: Continued spending on necessary hut refurbishment. Current balance at £27k. We intend to hold a reserve of £10k (to cover bills & emergency repairs). All accounts are healthy and available to view. Many thanks to Matt Bibby, accounts have now been audited and signed off. 

- Executive committee formal vote: 

- Jodie Schmidtt Burr stepped down as Group Chair. Jason Hart nominated as new Group Chair, Dawn Boughton seconded. 

- Lee Howes nominated as Group Treasurer, Sally Amos seconded 

- Kelly Silk nominated as Group Secretary, Kirsty Morton seconded 

- Mike, Catherine, Maria nominated as Committee Members
