GOVERNANCE REPORT 2020/21
The operation of Orwell Village Hall has been totally dominated through the year 2020 to 2021 by the response to the pandemic. In fact, we have secured virtually no real operational income during this period. The Village Hall has benefited from financial support from both Orwell Parish Council, to fund the refurbishment of the hall, and from South Cambs District Council as part of the pandemic relief. The total received being £28,708 of the £28,748 in revenue.
However, this has left the Village Hall with a healthy bank balance and a newly decorated hall, so we remain very confident of a much improved 2021/2022.
