Activities

A Village Hall, which provides a meeting place for all the Madingley villagers with modern and disabled facilities, as well as a community hall for any Madingley village event, and a safe public venue for a wide variety of clubs, societies and meeting groups at a very reasonable cost, available 365 days a year.

Objects: 2. The objects of the charity (the “Objects”) are: (a) to hold the Trust Property upon trust for the purposes of providing a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Civil Parish of Madingley (the “Area of Benefit”) without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions, and in particular for use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants. And/or (b) to provide grants or financial assistance for, or for the benefit of, inhabitants of the Area of Benefit with the object of improving their conditions of life.
