Ob"ectives and activities
The obj'ective of the Association is to provide for the residents of the two
villages varied facTrlities as may be needed from time to time for social,
physical, or recreational interest, which residents may desire.

en planning our actNities for the year, the trustees and the various
organisations including the tsvothparish council have considered the
Commission's guidance on public benefft. The Association owns and
controls the Willage Hall. Pavilion. and the MacLaren Playing Fields in
Kennett and any buildings on it in Kennett. Income is raised through
running car bool sales throughout the year, charity events and from the
use of the football pitc1￿S and hiring of the village hall.

Achievements and performance
The playing field continued to be used for football and exercise classes.
Fundraising conts'nues throughout the year enabling maintenance works
to be camed out to both the Village Hall and Pavilion. The Willage Hall
continues to be well used by groups and private bookings. Both buildings
have had solar panels instalw this year.

We have reseprfed funds in a charty account some of this maybe
required in the future to update the Village Hall as the village continues to
grow because of the new housing development.
