ObjectsThe objects of the CIO are to prevent and relieve poverty among women and their children from Latin America who have suffered domestic violence in the United Kingdom by3.1. providing refuge3.2 promoting women's independence and autonomy and3.3 promoting a non-violent environment for women and children

**Activities:** We provide refuge space for Latin American women and children in the UK who flee domestic violence. Our Advice and Information Centre provides advocacy and support for women who are not ready yet to leave abusive relationships or might not be eligible to live in the refuge. We recently took on floating support and we are part of the Islington BME Outreach Project.
