Activities
Sands vision is a world where fewer babies die. Sands works to ensure that, when a baby dies, anyone affected receives the best bereavement care and support for as long as they need it. Sands offers a free UK helpline and network of support groups, works with healthcare professionals to improve bereavement care, and involves bereaved families in research to save babies lives.
Objects: 4.1.1 To Promote The Emotional, Psychological And Physical Wellbeingof Parents, Their Families And Friends, When A Baby Dies Inutero, At Birth Or Soon After Birth, By:-4.1.1.1 The Provision Of Support And Information To Those Sobereaved And Their Carers; And4.1.1.2 Working Collaboratively With Health And Social Careprofessionals To Improve And Enhance Professionalpractice With Bereaved Parents; And4.1.2 To Promote Research And The Implementation Of Best Practicethat Will Help Identify The Causes And Reduce The Incidence Ofthe Death Of A Baby In Utero, At Birth Or Soon After Birth, And Topublish The Results Of Such Research.4.2 Nothing In These Articles Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Ofthe Charity For Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance Withsection 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (scotland) Act 2005.
