## Activities

**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE FIELDS OF HISTORY, ARCHITECTURAL HISTORY AND ARCHAEOLOGY AND TO PROMOTE THE STUDY OF THESE FIELDS IN PARTICULAR WITHIN THE COUNTY OF CAMBRIDGE. TO SECURE THE PRESERVATION, RESTORATION, IMPROVEMENT, ENHANCEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF FEATURES AND OBJECTS OF  ARCHITECTURAL HISTORICAL OR ARCHAEOLOGICAL INTEREST.

**Activities:** Monthly lectures, 2 annual conferences, publications, visits, displays and small grants with the aim of educating the public and promoting study in the fields of history, archaeology and architectural history, particularly in relation to the county of Cambridgeshire.  The Society represents the interests of these fields within the county to bodies like local government and Cambridge University.
