**Objects:** (I) TO STIMULATE PUBLIC INTEREST IN BECCLES AND ITS SURROUNDINGS (HEREINAFTER CALED THE AREA OF BENEFIT); (II) TO PROMOTE HIGH STANDARDS OF PLANNING AND ARCHITECTURE IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT; (III) TO SECURE THE PRESERVATION, PROTECTION, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF FEATURES OF HISTORIC OR PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT.

**Activities:** Aims: To stimulate public awareness and appreciation of the beauty, history and character of Beccles and its surroundings.To conserve the architectural heritage of the town, its streetscape and its conservation area and to work for an enhancement of the town by encouraging good development.To stimulate awareness of the impact physical developments have on the life of Beccles and surroundings
