An Open Day was held on 02 September 2023, with 61 groups represented in person. tt was well attended. Throughout the year approximately 130 different groups operated. Separate events were held for New Members & for Volunteers (new & existing). The AGM took place on 13 November 2023. A Resolutlon was passed for one small Chan￿ to the Constitution. A further Open Day was held on 31st August 2024. with 80 groups represerrted in person. It was also well attended. We have used this year to consolidate & stabilise. This has been successful and we continue to thrive & grow. Summary ofthe main achievements of the chanty, identifying the difference the charity's work has made to the cirCumstan￿S of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to soaety as a whole. Pwa 120 Regular monthly meetings were held, with a variety of interesting talks & a chance for members to meet up socially. Both Summer & Christmas parties were well attended. The Travel gTOUPS and Concertgoers arranged & organised their trips. A Volunteers meeting was held in October 23 for existing volunteels and members who were interested in finding oui about becoming a voluntsor. A New Members meeting was held in November 23. This gave new members a chance to see what Swindon u3a as a whole was about and how they could make the most of their membership.
