Objectives and aims
The Trust was founded in memory of the late Sir G&ffrey Todd, Medical Suw1n￿dent of King Edward Vl1 H￿tI,
Mldhurst from 1935 to 1970. Its purpose Is to provide finarrial SUp￿rt to ap￿￿ants INing in Nidhur￿ and the
surrounding area, who require medScal treatment or equipTh￿￿t for mediol COnd￿ons, whkh may not te easlly
through the NHS or Soial kn￿e5, and whKh otherwise may not be r￿lty affordable.
The frusiees continue to i* well aware of the continuing problern of rnentsl heath difficulties, of vawng severfty,
ex￿.￿￿ by a significant numbu of Sthoolchlldr￿ natlonally and in this area. We have continuej to act pOstiVe￿ to
FoIK&ions for grants from local sthLX)Is for profesgonal help that may not othawi5e be affordable. In colkib¢rdtion ￿1th
the Wiliam Heathw Wll Trux and with the help of a generous grant from The Friends of mIdh￿[st Communty Hosplt*,
the Trustees have contentrat&l on pardcular ne￿1. h0[RfvI￿ for Ihe Lasting IRnefft of nHny youngsters in our
communty.

Along with the William Heather Wlll TrusL the Trust has continu8J to gJFVOrt the vtsl work of two of the counsellors
currenity ernpl¢>yal at our excdknt local S￿ndary school, Midhur# Rother Co$￿. The counselk)rs are helping a
59nificant pro￿On of the students every year, and we knw that thè Trusts contlnulng fina￿al assistance is grea￿y
appredated.
The Tnjstees have continued in their efforts to provide sgnifojnt grants to several Primary SchcKJls In the Rother Valley
group of schoo6s. We have cOn￿nU8￿ our longthnding sUPWrt through fimding of thè h￿)htY valutsj family SJP￿rt
worker at Fernhurst and Camelsdale Primary khwls, and have also provided funding for a play therapist at Fernhurst
nanaal sukyort was akn provided for WIf￿Onal play therdpi5ts at the Primary Scho)Is of and St James,
Cokjwaltham. Play therapy, we have l&rned, can be inwdluatAe in heltyng to alleviate the nEntsl hea￿h difficulties of
