The Charity is for the benefit of the Parish of Guilden Morden. 

The Trustees are selected from either the residents of Guilden Morden or from those that have a close connection with the village. The solicitors Tees of John Street, Royston, Hertfordshire SG8 9BG have been appointed by the Trustees.  Their duties are to manage the collection of rents, discharge all maintenance costs in respect of the properties including all financial charges. 

To keep proper books of accounts and records as well as the Trustees decisions and resolutions. 

Trustees meet between 2 and 4 times a year to discuss the housing stock and the Charities ongoing business.  Additional meetings are held if a house becomes available and a new tenant has to be considered.  The vacancy is made widely known to parishioners of Guilden Morden. Selection is made on the basis of financial need and connection to the village.  If there are no suitable candidates the offer is made to a wider market on a commercial basis.

The late Albert Frederick Worboys who passed away on the 2nd October 1985 set aside a
significant sum of money with a vlew to constructing three bungalows.
It was Albert Frederick Worboys, wlsh that the current trustees of the Charlty should have
an unfettered dlscretion to choose any prospective occupier of the bungalows, once
constructed, but due regard should be had by the trustees that each dwelling should be
used to house one famllyi the principal member of which shall be poor andlor infirm. In
selecting such a family the trustees should have a preference for the late Albert Frederick
Worboys, employees or former employees, or the wives of former employees, or former
employees of the business that he and his late brother ran In the vlllage, but in default of
any such person, as a second preference, any person who rendered asslstance to Albert
Frederlck Worboys after the demlse of his brother, and thSrdly in default of such persons,
anyone who in the opinion of the current trustees have or have had substantial connectlon
wlth the village of Gullden Morden.
The current trustees, discretion is absolute and unfettered and thelr decisions are final and
blndln8 upon all partles concerned.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity ('the Trust") for the year ended 0510412023.
Responsibilties and
basis of report
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
{'the Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed all Ihe applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5){b) of the Act.
Independent IThe charity's gross income exceeded £250,000 and l am qualified to
examiner's statement undertake the examination by being a qualified member of [insert name of

I have completed my examinalion. I confirm that no material matters hav8
come to my altention in connection with the examination (other than that
disclosed below ') which gives me cause to believe that in, any material
respect:
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130

the accounts did not Comply with the applicable requirements
concerning Ihe form and content of accounts set out in the Charities
(Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement
