**Objects:** TO PROMOTE, IMPROVE, DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND APPRECIATION OF THE ART AND SCIENCE OF MUSIC IN ALL ITS ASPECTS BY THE PRESENTATION OF PUBLIC CONCERTS AND RECITALS AND BY SUCH OTHER WAYS AS THE SOCIETY THROUGH ITS COMMITTEE SHALL DETERMINE FROM TIME TO TIME.

**Activities:** City Chamber Choir's principal activity is the study in rehearsal and the presentation in live performance of choral music.  Its repertoire is wide-ranging, with a particular emphasis on less familiar music from early and 20th century periods, frequently performed a cappella.  The choir has been involved with a number of new commissions and is recognised for its enterprising programming.
