The Trust was able to
a) fatilitale the vocational trainin9 of a further 8 young people so that
they could gain employment in the tourism industry in Tanzania-,
b) continue to support the Training for Life programme for young
people In Tanzania for lis 29Yi year of operation.,
c) continue to support medical training for one postgraduate medical
student {Tanzanial and undergraduate medical students
(Kenya and Indonesial
d) support a low-income community lo buy and produ￿ food and to
procure medical supplies, and in partlcular to recover from the
effects of devastating monsoon floods.
e) support careers education in schools severely impacted by
serious economic crisis.,
support palliative care, youth work and food banks in Staffordshir8

It is the poliGy of the Charity lo hold a maximum of 6, months,
expenditure in reserves. In praGlice, reserves are much lower than this as
the Charity has no overheads and its expenditure consists of
discretionary grants,
