**Objects:** (A) TO PROMOTE FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION ABOUT AND BY AND AS PART OF SUCH ADVANCEMENT THE EXPANSION AND IMPROVEMENT OF PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SECURITY AND RELATED SCIENTIFIC TECHNICAL ECONOMIC AND SOCIOLOGICAL ISSUES (B) TO PROMOTE STUDY AND RESEARCH INTO THE ISSUES AND TO PUBLISH THE USEFUL RESULTS OF ALL SUCH STUDY AND RESEARCH.

**Activities:** The Trust seeks to inform the government and public on matters of science & world affairs, in particular the issues surrounding nuclear weapons, nuclear power, war and peace, and the social responsibility of scientists. It arranges seminars & public meetings, undertakes research projects and issues publications, is establishing Joseph Rotblat's archive, and runs education programmes.
