Museum and LocalHistoryCentre. The
purposes forthepublic Museumfeaturespermanent exhibits as
benefit, in particular,the well asrotating exhibits based onan
activities, projectsor annualtheme. TheLocal History Centre
services identifiedinthe boasts a collectionofpersonal
accounts. memorabilia,such asphotographs and
familyrecords. The exhibitsaremade upof
itemsfrom SaltashHeritage's own
collection, aswell asitems loaned from
othermuseums and members ofthepublic.
SaltashHeritage aimsto acquireand
display to thegeneralpublic items linked to
Saltash'shistory andinheritance,aswellas
items linked tothegeneral surrounding
area.
The Museum is open tothe generalpublic
between Aprilto November.Entrance to
theMuseumisfree,andtheMuseum also
provides an optiontobook private visitsfor
groupsofindividuals.TheLocal History
Centreisopenthroughouttheyearlimited
toseveralweekdays,and appointments to
visitcanbe booked by contacting the
facilitythroughthe detailsprovided ontheir
website. Collections encompass25,000
photographs, 300 local maps, and over
30,000 documents.Theseresources areall
made available tothepublic. Saltash
Heritage alsodisplayscommitment to
acquiringnew itemsfor exhibitthrough
purchase at auctions.
