The charity is managed bytwo Chairs, Sophie Carson and Christina Webb. James Mayo
has succeeded Chu Ching Karen Lin as the Treasurer. Gemma Bell is Charity Secretary.
Jonathan Walker is Head teacher of High Beeches primary school. and Stephanie
Shewbridge is the deputy Head of High Beeches primaryschool. Allthe trustees are
volunteers of the charity.
In the financial year ended 3110712025. we had various fund-raising activities to raise
money for the charity, which included:
Movie nights:
Quiz night.,
Disco night:
Second hand uniform Sale.
Christmas fair.
Ice lolly sales:
Golf day:
Jubilee circus:
Fundraising gala ball.
Christmas wreath and gingerbread house workshops.
As a result of the funds raised and donations. we were able to make a range of
donations to High Beeches Primary School, including £25,000 to support construction
of new facilities. £6,830 for new Chromebooks, £1,990 for a new display screen in the
school's Discovery Den and £2,980 on books. In addition, we continued to provide
support towards various workshops. outdoor equipment and curriculum resources to
support the school.
There are no debts to the charity. and we do not hold anyfunds asthe custodian trustee.

I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of the charity for the year
ended 5th April 2025 which are set out on pages 3-6.
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examlner
As the charity's trustees of The Friends of High Beeches you are responsible for the
preparation of accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 20111'the
Act'l
I report in respect of my examination of The Friends of High Beeches accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the
applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 14515llbl of the Act
Independent examinerfs ststement
I have completed my examination: I confirm that no material matters have come to my
attention in Connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material
respect..
accounting records were not kept in respect of The Friends of Hi8h Beeches
as required by section 130 of the Act- or
2. the accounts do not accord with those records,. or
3. the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements concernin8
the form and content of accounts set in the Charities IAccounts and Reports)
Regulations 2008 other than any requirement give a 'true and fair view, which is
not a matter considered as part of an independent examination
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the
examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper
understanding of the accounts to be reached.
