Heathrow Travel-Care is the Independent Crisis Social Work Agency for Heathrow Airport. Qualified social workers assess, advise, advocate, signpost re issues including mental distress, disability, homelessness. Also: safeguarding children/vulnerable adults, planning with/for vulnerable Britons returning from abroad, coordination of Initial Humanitarian Assistance at Heathrow following emergencies.
Objects: To Relieve Poverty And Sickness Amongst Persons Travelling Through Heathrow Airport - London And Airport Staff Who Are In Need Without Distincion Of Sex Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions Whose Problems Are Outside The Scope Of The Normal Services Provided By Heathrow Airport Limited, Airlines, Firms And Control Authorities.
