**Objects:** A. TO CONSERVE AND PROTECT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE INVIRONMENT AS A WHOLE AND ITS ANIMAL AND PLANT LIFE AND IN PARTICULAR TO CONSEVE PROTECT AND MAINTAIN WHEATFEN BOARD. B. TO ESTABLISH A NATURE AREA AND A CENTRE TO HOUSE NATURAL HISTORY SPECIMENS AND TO ORGANISE OR CONDUCT LECTURES WITH A VIEW TO ADVANCING THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC (INCLUDING PUPILS OF SCHOOLS) IN NATURAL HISTORY.

**Activities:** The Ted Ellis Trust maintains a nature reserve at Wheatfen Broad, Surlingham in the Yare Valley SSSI in Norfolk with extensive walks open to the public all year round. The Friends of the Trust organise fund raising events and run courses, mainly on natural history. The warden also leads guided walks and give talks.
