Constltution
The charity is an unincorporated association based in Suffolk. It Is administered by a
Management Commlttee who are the Charlty Trustees and is governed by a constitution
adopted on and updated on the Ilth May 2024

The President and Charlty Steward are ex-officio members, the remainin8 members are
subject to annual election.
Objects and public beneflt
The charity's objects are to raise funds and to make donations and grants to other registered
charities or to organisation5 With charitable purposes, or otherwise to apply funds for the
benef it and relief of individuals.
In 2025 the charity's gross annual income of "unrestricted funds" was £3909 and expenditure
amounted to £550 which was distributed to two non ma50nlc charlties. The restricted funds
received £28929 and distributed £16824 to a number of charities, the majorlty non masonic.
The Management Committee meets formally once a year to review progress, assess risk.
review investment policy. and to decide strategic obJectives for the forthcoming year. Day
to day management devolves on the Treasurer and Charity Steward who liaise with the
Chair. Special meetings of the whole Management Committee are called as necessary.
Funds
In addition to the General Operating Fund, whlch is unrestricted. The trust also receives
donations from the charity collections and benevolent funds of individual Private Chapters
and other masonic bodies in Suffolk. These are available to the originator on demand.

with the objects of the Charity. In the accounts these are described as 'Restricted Funds"
in addition, the trust may hold Designated Funds, where the Management Committee
earmarks unrestricted funds for a specific purpose. At 31, December 2023 there were no
operational Designated Funds.
Reserves
The Charity has no ongoing costs. as all work and facilities are provided voluntarily by the
Mana8ement Committee and supporters. The ManaBement Committee undertakes to
ensure that sufficient monetary funds are available to satisfy withdrawal requirements of
the Restricted and any Designated Fund5 and aims to maintain a sufficient sum available on
demand to meet any reasonably foreseeable liability which might arise in future.
Acknowled8ments
The trustees acknowledge their responsibility for the produrtion of accounts, but in doing so
also formally record their thanks to the Treasurer and independent Accounts Examiners for
their hard work and care in discharging their duties to the Charity.
