The principal aim ot- the Sociel!. is io promote M'iihin ihe COTnmunil!' of Il'indsor and Maidenhead and
disiricl enj()!'ment ot-and education in music b!" rehearsal and public performance of orchcsiral music.
Prol'ided financial support is ai"ailable. Ihe Soci¢i!' also holds an annual competition open io l'oung
musicians 10 encouragFe skills in perlonnance and the opportunit!. to take part in public concerts
organised bN' the SocieiN. The Sociei!. holds a minimum of three public concerts per annum. and
occasionallN' coopernies ￿'ith oth¢r societies ￿"1th similar aims in further public perfonnances. The
Societ!, has also giji'en Concerts in aid of local charities.
Financial goi'ernance
An ..Innual Cieneral Meeting {AGM) shall be held before the end of December. Members shall be
notitied in writing at least ihree ￿eekS in adi'ance and sent copies of the agFenda.
