**Objects:** TO PROMOTE, MAINTAIN, IMPROVE AND ADVANCE EDUCATION PARTICULARLY BY THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF THE ARTS AND IN PARTICULAR THE VISUAL ARTS WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO PASTEL PAINTING, PENCIL DRAWING AND ASSOCIATED ARTS (FOR DETAILS SEE CLAUSE 3 OR MEMORANDUM OF ASSOCIATION)

**Activities:** The Society encourages and promotes the pastel medium in the world of the fine arts. Activities include the organising of exhibitions throughout the UK of members and non-members work, plus education through workshops and school visits. In addition, advice is provided on all aspects of pastel drawing and use of all dry media.
