**Objects:** TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF SHIREHAMPTON AND THE NEIGHBOURHOOD WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINION BY (A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION; (B) PROVIDING A REGULAR SERVICE OF GENERAL WELFARE, PARTICULARLY FOR THE AGED, DISABLED AND TEENAGERS, AND MAINTAINING CONTACT WITH SUCH STATUTORY AND LOCAL BODIES AS MAY BE NECESSARY FOR THE FURTHERANCE OF SUCH WORK; (C) AIDING AND MAKING GRANTS TO OTHER LOCAL ESTABLISHMENT.

**Activities:** A free advice service using a qualified advice worker from a third party supplier, versed in the rules and regulations covering welfare benefits who advises people on entitlements and if necessary helps process claims. He/she also advises on debt issues. An appointment system is used and the service is available 1 morning per week in Shirehampton.
