The Anglo-American Music Trust was founded in 1987 with the special objective of furthering the cause of American music in Great Britain. These objectives have included supporting live performances, recordings, publications, lectures and recitals and awarding study grants, bursaries and scholarships. The Trust has also supported new commissions and U.K. premieres of American compositions.
Objects: To Promote The Study And Education Of The Public In The Arts And Particulary In The Art Of Orchestral Music And Its Performance With Special Regard To Introducing The General Public To American Music.
