public benefit when reviewing the charity's objectives and planning future activities. Friends
of Meath works with Meath School to identify items or activities which will support and further
the education of the current pupils at the school. Friends of Meath undertakes a range of
fundraising activities to raise funds to make grants to the school for these items or activities.
During the year Friends of Meath raised funds by selling glow sticks at the school firework
event, organising a Christmas hamper raffle and the big event of the year is always the
summer fair.
Following consultation with the school, Friends of Meath transferred £25,000 to Meath
School for the residential provision. Additional payments to the school of £807 were made
