## **Annual Report for Year Ending 31 August 2025**

## **1. Introduction**

In this Financial Year, we had a new PTA Committee, with Natalie Magloire staying on as Treasurer. Several of the traditional St Gregory’s events were held along with the introduction of some new fundraising ideas. The PTA continued to make essential donations to the school.

## **2. Events**

Events generated a profit of 26,141.80 for the year. Events including the Christmas Bonanza, Children’s School Disco, and the Summer Fete were popular amongst the children, parents and staff. Some smaller initiatives were also run like Wreath Night and International Evening. The PTA also reopened the pre-loved second-hand uniform shop along with the online platform. Profit for the larger events were as follows:

- Christmas Bonanza £6,729.14

- Children’s Disco £1,193.62

- Summer Fete £6,462.44

The remainder of the profit is made up of smaller initiatives such as the Valentine’s Day Sale, Mother’s Day Sale and the Christmas Card Fundraiser.

Our pre-loved uniform shops made around £1,044.88.

## **3. Donations**

The PTA donated a total of £8404.16 to the school this year. We committed to fund the following approved spending requests in the new financial year, new parasols, new audio system and a new outdoor play area as we did not use the funding in 2025 (FY2026).

The PTA were incredibly pleased to be able to uphold the tradition of funding the entertainment for the Christmas parties for all year groups, Year 6 leaver’s party and funding provided for Photo Frames, Key stage 2 sports day, and the PTA Cup.

1

The PTA also supported the school’s Hardship Fund and provided extra books on World Book Day.

The PTA help fund the Early years with new rug and sofa bean bag, whole school resources and phonic cards, and provided hatching chick kit for the early years.

The donation of funds has benefitted children across all year groups and covered as many areas of school life as possible.

Funds of £40,352.71 are being carried forward to the new financial year (1 September 25 to 31 August 26).
