The Friends undertake a variety of activitie5, which include fundraising bul also acting os omb055adors for our school. supportin9 coffee mornings for prospective parents, helping with trips. meeting ar)d looking after visitors to the school. All parents/carers ore invited to join the Friends and the group tries to be as reflective of the school communily as possible, ensuring understanding of need and how the Friends can best help both the pupils ond school communily. The school 15 very apprecialive of all the voluntary hard work undertaken by the Friends, and in parlicular, value Ihe Chairs, who give of Iheir time tirelessly to make a positive difference to our children and families. The Friends group are relaunched onnually in September and then meet monlhly throughout the year. Some members are only able to meet virtually owing lo their p&rsonal commitments. bul their voice is caplured and helps to inform direction. In the run up lo the evenls. the Friends support in multiple ways from practical preparation in school, to baking cakes, sourcing prizes and gifts. collaling resources to sell. designing and making activities.
