|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|Throughout the year, Friends of St Peter’s<br>(FoSP) continued to play a significant role in<br>enriching school life, strengthening the school<br>community and enhancing opportunities for<br>pupils through a wide range of fundraising,<br>social and enrichment activities.<br>FoSP organised and delivered numerous<br>successful events including the Autumn Fair,<br>Summer Showcase and Colour Run, UV school<br>discos, Easter Egg Hunt, Santa’s Grotto, wreath<br>making workshops, Mother’s and Father’s Day<br>shops, monthly bake sales and community trips<br>such as the Legoland inset day event. These<br>events brought together hundreds of families,<br>created memorable experiences for children<br>and helped foster a strong sense of community<br>and belonging within the school.<br>Many activities were designed not only to raise<br>funds but also to directly benefit pupils’<br>wellbeing and enjoyment. Examples included<br>providing advent calendars for every class,<br>decorating the school for Christmas<br>celebrations, arranging a special Snow Queen<br>theatre performance, Jubilee-themed activities<br>for all pupils and organising themed events<br>linked to literacy and wider learning, such as<br>the Wonky Bar Day celebrating Roald Dahl’s<br>birthday.<br>FoSP has also continued to support families<br>practically through the Nearly New Uniform<br>shop, helping reduce the cost of school clothing<br>while promoting sustainability by giving items a<br>second life. The scheme raised over £750<br>during the year while also providing meaningful<br>support to families within the wider school<br>community.<br>Funds raised by FoSP have enabled the<br>purchase of a wide range of educational and<br>wellbeing resources for pupils across the<br>school. These included new reading books,<br>phonics resources, dictionaries and<br>thesauruses, birthday books, neurodiversity<br>resources, sports equipment and outdoor play<br>enhancements. FoSP also funded enrichment<br>workshops and experiences, including<br>storytelling, anti-bullying and equality<br>workshops, helping broaden pupils’ cultural<br>understanding and personal development.<br>In addition to the financial impact, FoSP’s work<br>has strengthened relationships between<br>parents, staff and the wider community,<br>encouraged volunteering and community|





participation, and helped create a positive and inclusive school environment where children can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Independent examiner’s report to the trustees of FOSP 

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the FOSP for the year ended 31 July 2025. 

Responsibilities and basis of report 

As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’). 

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 

2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

Independent examiner’s statement 

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: 

1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the
