**Objects:** A) TO PROMOTE RESEARCH TOWARDS FINDING A CURE FOR TYPE 1 (JUVENILE) DIABETES, INCLUDING ITS PREVENTION AND TO DISSEMINATE THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH; B) TO RELIEVE SICKNESS AMONGST PERSONS WHO ARE SUFFERING FROM TYPE 1 (JUVENILE) DIABETES; C) TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION ABOUT DIABETES AND PARTICULARLY TYPE 1 (JUVENILE) DIABETES.

**Activities:** JDRF adopted the new working name Breakthrough T1D in October 2024, and is part of an international network with a shared vision of a world without type 1 diabetes. In the UK we fund research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes, work to accelerate the pace of research and the delivery of treatments and give support and a voice to children and adults living with type 1, and their families.
