**Activities:** The Society promotes the study and creation of British bookplates (ex-libris) through its journal, newsletter, books, occasional exhibitions and its website including listing artists willing to accept commissions. It also supports interest in the fields of graphic and book art, bibliography, heraldry and family history, and provides information about, and helps identify, British bookplates.
