Registered Charity No 295560

Report of the Committee of Management for the year ended 30[th] June 2025

Annual Report to the Trustees of St. Edward’s Hall prepared by Joyce Norris, Chairperson.

We continue to have an excellent relationship with Gloucester County Council with our regular six monthly meetings should any problems arise.

It has been a fairly quiet year for us, following the completion of the refurbishment of the ladies toilets, which have been much appreciated, and many thanks go to Andrew Eastabrook for all his hard work. This refurbishment has reduced our resources and we will not be considering any further major work until this is redressed. Minor maintenance has continued through the year and again thanks to Andrew Eastabrook and Mike Schoen for rolling up their sleeves and saving money!

Barclays Bank have renewed for another twelve months, and Lloyds Bank are now using the Library (40% of the rent coming to the Trustees). The car parking spaces are also continuing to bring in a useful income

We contiue to be busy with ballet, pilates, baby classes and also antique valuations, civic society and town meetings. Our weekend Craft fairs continue, but sadly we have lost one through bereavement. We have two Weddings booked for later on in the year.

During the year we lost two of our Trustees, Mr.R Langman who has moved away, and Mrs. L. Rixon who as a blossoming writer became too busy. Two of our Co-opt Members have become Trustees and we are delighted that they are now fully part of the team.

The Committee wish to record their thanks to Lauren at William Hinton Accountants for undertaking the examination of the Accounts.

The Committee has approved this Report.

Signed – Chairperson Mrs J Norris
