Activities
The charity manages a countryside centre and tea room in an historic local barn, moved from the site of the Channel Tunnel complex, housing local historic artefacts and information. It also manages an adjacent museum dedicated to the Elham Valley Line Railway, housing many rail based artefacts and the English half of the original model from the Channel Tunnel Exhibition Centre.
Objects: Advancement Of Education Of The Public (I) In Conservation Of The Countryside Surrounding The Course Of The Disused Elham Valley Line By The Provision Inter-Alia Of Nature Trails And Footpaths; (Ii) In Old English Crafts By The Provision Inter-Alia Of A Working Crafts Centre; (Iii) In Historical Railways By The Provision Inter-Alia Of A Working Museum (Iv) In Matters Ancillary To Any Of The Foregoing By Such Means As Shall Be Decided From Time To Time By The Trustees.
