Ast at 31 July 2020 the charitable funds were £23,475 (2019: £8,376). During the year the charity generated charitable funds of £15,099 (2019: utilised funds of £15,130). The funds raised are for the benefit of St Joseph's Catholic School in Bishop's Stortford, however, in addition, funds are also donated to an annual charity as voted upon by the General committee. Monies are raised by the charity by running fund raising eevents, as detailed in these financial statements. No funds are held as a custodian trustee on behalf of others. ## **Basis of preparation** The accounts have been prepared on the receipts and payments basis. ## **The General Committee** The Trustees who served during the year and up to the date of this report were as follows; Tanya McConn Andrew Faulkner Sophie Harrington (resigned 7 November 2019) Emma Grimley Claire Downie Samantha Downes (resigned 7 November 2019) Vedran Biondic Mark Prince (resigned 7 November 2019) Sarah Fletcher (resigned 7 November 2019) The trustees are appointed and resign on an annual basis at the Annual General Meeting. Trustees are proposed for appointment at the Annual General Meeting and voted upon at that meeting. ## **Public benefit statement** The Trustees confirm that they have complied with their duty to have due regard to the guidance on public benefit published by the Charity Commission in exercising their porwers and duties.
