1. Objectives and Activities
Friends of Molesey Centre exists to support the wellbeing of local residents through inclusive community activities, events, and outreach. Our objectives remain:

To foster social connection and reduce isolation.

To provide accessible, welcoming spaces for all ages.

To raise funds for community improvements and services.
This year, we expanded our engagement through seasonal fairs, raffles, and the launch of new initiatives including our upcoming Hub Shop and first community day trip.
2. Achievements and Performance
We are proud of the continued generosity and involvement of our community. Highlights include:

Donations : £37,250 raised, including £200 earmarked for the Garden Fund.

Fundraising Events : Christmas Fayre and Summer Fair generated over £3,100 collectively.

Other Income : Bread and card sales, raffles, and tabletop events contributed an additional £6,216.66 (excluding donations).

Savings : £20,000 transferred to a 90-day notice savings account, securing future resilience.

Total Assets : £44,621.68 as of 5 April 2025.
We also acknowledge the successful acquisition of capital items (shed, tables, lawnmower, umbrella) to support venue operations.
3. Financial Review

Income : £43,466.66 total, with donations forming the majority.

Expenditure : £24,848.17, covering events, garden improvements, office costs, and capital purchases.

Operating Surplus : £1,368.49 for the year ending 5 April 2025.

We continue to monitor costs closely and ensure all spending aligns with charitable objectives.

3.1 Acknowledgement of Independent Examination
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr C. Bocking , who generously audited our accounts at no charge . His professional oversight and voluntary support have been invaluable in ensuring the accuracy and transparency of our financial reporting. This contribution reflects the spirit of community and trust that underpins our charity’s operations.
4. Reserves Policy
The charity maintains a prudent reserves policy to ensure sustainability. The £20,000 held in savings reflects our commitment to future planning and financial stability.

Friends of Molesey Centre is governed by a volunteer committee. We extend heartfelt thanks to:
